About Me

Nadine Chia (She/Her/Hers) is a New York City based actor, singer, and dancer. Born in a small town called Kuala Belait in Brunei, she was raised on the sunny Gold Coast, Australia, and moved to the USA to obtain her BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in Commercial Dance from Pace University. Her friends jokingly describe her as “Miss Worldwide”.

Her love for performing began at the age of 5, when she would skillfully persuade her entire family to watch her newly devised theatre “productions”, and listen to her original “songs”. Yet despite this early creative spark, throughout high school, Nadine had her eyes set on becoming a successful lawyer and owning her own law firm. In other words, she is extremely passionate about issues that matter to her and loves a good debate. Still, there was always an inner knowing that performing was what made her feel truly alive.

When Nadine isn’t choreographing in a dance studio, or singing in a practice room, you can find her going for a long run, reading a good book, cooking a delicious vegan meal, writing, vlogging, being in nature, working out at the gym, doing yoga, or volunteering at various places around NYC. She is an eating disorder survivor and proud advocate for mental health awareness, environmental sustainability, and animal rights. Nadine couldn’t be more grateful to be pursuing a career in the arts and is excited for what’s to come. Goodbye courtroom, hello dressing room!
